Say A Prayer For Kat

I was quite saddened to read what is currently going on with Latin XXX star Kat. For those of you who haven't already read or heard- according to several sources, Kat is in such serious trouble with drugs and alcohol that the people closest to her fear for her very life. One friend of hers stated that if her present pattern of abuse continues, she may not survive to see her next birthday. From what has been said about her behavior, she also appears to be close to a nervous breakdown.

With that, I would like to start a prayer chain. It may sound strange, starting a prayer on a XXX fansite, but remember- this isn't about personal moral beliefs. This is about a young woman's life. I urge anyone here who believes in God, or even at least thinks there might be a God, to join me in this prayer:

Father, we all come to you joining hands across cyberspace, to pray for our sister and our friend Kat. We ask that you heal her of her horrible affliction of substance abuse. Father we ask you touch her heart, mind, and soul that she may find peace in your love, and comfort in your compassion. We ask you to spare her mortal life and restore her physical and mental health.

Regardless of how well she knows you, she is still your child and you love her all the same, no matter what she does. No matter where she is, you are always with her.

Heavenly father, we all know that the evil curse of addiction is just another one of Satan's cruel tricks to try and destroy what you love most- us, your children. With that, I say this:

SATAN, I BIND AND REBUKE YOU RIGHT NOW IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! I COMMAND YOU TO TAKE YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF OF KAT RIGHT NOW!!!! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO HER, AND AS OF RIGHT NOW, YOU HAVE NO MORE POWER OVER HER BODY, HER MIND, OR HER LIFE! SHE IS A CHILD OF GOD AND THE DEVIL CANNOT AND WILL NOT HAVE HER!!!

Kat will live, she will be restored, she will be healed, and she will rebuild her relationships with those who care about her.

It states in the Bible that when two or more people agree on something, it shall be done in Jesus' name. All here who agree say: amen!

Unfortunately, the alcohol and drug abuse in the porn world hits just as hard as in the rest of our society. Some porn notables as of late are John Dough (suicide), Yumi (strung out) and now Kat. I'm sure there's a lot more abuse going on than we'll ever know about.

Amen but she still needs an intervention someone close to her that she would listen too.

Very touching and thank you for putting together a hearfelt prayer for Kat. Coincidentally, I just took notice of her a few days ago. I will definitely keep her in my prayers.

I would like to add one intention for Kat and any of her close friends and family:

Dear Lord, with thy grace, bestow upon those close to Kat the strength and determination needed to help Kat with all of their hearts.

Well Pokeher, it might be that this is not your normal XXX board. Read some more and you might understand.

As for Kat, well I'm not religious really but I hope she will find the strength to over come her current state. Let's hope she will find it within herself. All the best KAT.
