Great update Hay! It's really quite funny and ironic Max would be be sentenced to serve his time in a prison called La Tuna!

A LETTER FROM MAX HARDCORE March 2010 Dear Friends, I hope that you are all doing well when you read this delinquent dispatch, and none of your news is negative. I’m pleased to report that despite my recent legal lashing, I remain in good spirits here at the La Tuna Federal Labor Camp in southern New Mexico—the ‘Land of Enchantment.’ And while it’s never nice to be away from home for so long, at least they are teaching us some valuable skills, such as installing cramped cages into the beds of Border Patrol pick-ups to haul illegal immigrants … at the rate of $5.25 A MONTH! I was distressed to discover, however, that in spite of the epic efforts of my ace attorney H. Louis ‘Lou’ Sirkin—who was armed with an absolutely awesome appeal he had personally prepared—the jaded justices of the 11th Circuit found fault with his inspired interpretation of the Constitution, and affirmed my conviction of making immoral motion pictures which were too tawdry for the poor people of Tampa, Fla., to tolerate. It should be stated here for those who haven’t heard that no one from the Tampa area had protested my productions, and that none of these more explicit ‘European Version’ Videos were promoted for purchase anywhere in America. Equally unsettling is that a jury of my purported peers would be unable to understand the importance of intercourse as a fundamental human function, then sentence me to prison for 46 MONTHS along with a fine of nearly ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS! All because my movies had ‘offended’ them and somehow violated their mysterious ‘community standards,’ which are nowhere written down. They don’t tolerate that kind of flagrant flouting of the law down in Central Florida, no, sir! I should have realized my case was doomed from the get-go, but I failed to see the sign posted on the courtroom door which read: ‘FEDERAL REGULATIONS PROHIBIT CRIMINAL DEFENDANTS FROM ACTUALLY WINNING THEIR CASES—ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A FILTHY PORNOGRAPHER.’ Unfortunately, I had been distracted when my illustrious attorney Lou told me that NOW would be a good time to take out a second mortgage on my home. (Okay; I made some of that up.) As a result of this unfortunate oversight, I will now have to serve out the remainder of my sentence, and not be eligible for release until the end of this year—assuming there are no further legal levies placed upon my person. Snowman mentioned recently he still has plans to interview Max...so I have thought up just a couple of questions that might be of interest to fans. I am not really an expert on Max films however, I have seen probably two scenes at the most (one with Jade Marcella and one with Asia) as hot as the fucking was - the other stuff like the spewing just turned me off.

You have worked with two Asian Porno Hottie Hall-of-Famers Leanni Lei and Jade Marcela. What can you tell us about your time working with them?

What is your reaction to the support or lack thereof you have received from the porn industry as a result of your conviction?

He is serving his 46 month sentence here if you would like to write to him: Paul F. Little 44902-112 La Tuna Federal Correctional Institute Post Office Box 3000 Anthony, New Mexico 88021-9897 – His envelope had a message taped to the back of the envelope: CELEBRATING INDOMITABLE SPIRIT. – La Tuna FCI is a medium/low security facility located on the borders of New Mexico, Texas, and Mexico. It’s outside of El Paso and across from Juarez. He says it’s a big improvement over his last place of confinement in Los Angeles. – He is enjoying the use of a huge recreation yard and has been working out consistently since his incarceration. He says he is in the best shape of his life. He quit smoking and drinking and now feels great. – He’s in good spirits and is focused on re-energizing himself for the future. – He is looking forward to attending future conventions and industry events. – He is concerned about obscenity laws, their interpretation, and the administration of justice with respect to the adult industry. He notes that the prosecutor asked for a 12 year sentence in his case. – He feels fortunate to be alive and takes nothing for granted. He says his best days lie ahead.

I have to say, he is looking healthier! It looks like he is indeed working out. See there's a silver lining to every cloud!

The common thread with the “We can keep you forever” criminals was pedophilia. I think most would agree that this not a victimless crime. Stats are that these folks will offend again and there is much public outcry that these folks should be put away and the keys tossed.


I would hope that the authorities do not look at Max’s transgressions in the same context.

Funny, I didn't know this until now but Rob Black was serving in the same prison (La Tuna FCI - Anthony, Texas) as Max. However, Rob just got out earlier this month. His wife Lizzy was released from her prison in Minn awhile back. This is probably good news for Max, maybe they won't keep him locked up FOREVER!
