That's one (asinine and unjustified) reaction, but other people react to the same situation entirely different.
My current girlfriend is a tranny, although she likes to be called a she-male. We have the absolute best and wildest lovemaking. She is beautiful and lives as a woman. I've dated and made love to a lot of women and have never had a typical gay experience because I'm not attracted to guys. My girlfriend looks like Courtney Cox. I’m sure that everyone would agree that there are strict homosexuals and heterosexuals and those that swing both ways. I think that actually putting a percent number in each category is very difficult. In the studies that have been done, like Kinsey’s, all the special interest groups are quick to attack based on their personal agendas. There certainly was bias in some of the testing methods but once the “spin doctors” get their hands on the data the pan-ultimate spin machine takes over.
If you read the articles that the Google search will generate you will find that based on the same data the “spinners” have concluded that anywhere between 1% and 98% of American men have homosexual tendencies depending on who you read. In many cases you can easily ferret out the bias in the report but in many you can’t.
Having taken a Class in Human Sexuality, my Ph.D. type quoted that about 10% of men are exclusively homosexual, 10% Bi with a male predilection and 10% Bi with a female predilection and 70% of men exclusively hetero. I would conjecture that for the theoretical 20% Bi-males that a She-male is just what the doctor ordered.
The results of our small sample survey tend to favor an even higher % of Bi-guys. But I am in fact spinning based on my theory that only Bi’s would favor the She-Male. It could be that a certain percentage of exclusively straight males could overlook the extra equipment on the “right” tranny. As example if you were into Redhead females in a big way and you came across a super hot looking Redhead tranny, the red hair may trump the fact that there is a penis to deal with. I’m rambling. Bye.
