This thread will be used for the nomination and selection of the APH Scene of the Year. This award honors the best overall scene featuring an APH. The award may be presented at the Annual Blue Syren Erotica LA Dinner in Los Angeles.
Nominations from board members are being accepted now! Please nominate no more than five scenes from movies that were produced between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007. That roughly translates to a street date in between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008. Feel free to elaborate on why you feel your scene selections are deserving. It is OK if other non-Asian starlets appear in the scene, so long as there is at least one APH who participates sexually.
As with the other categories, multiple nominations for the same scene will matter. The five scenes that receive the greatest number of nominations will advance to the final voting round. In other words, if a certain scene is nominated 10 times, that scene is much more likely to advance to the final voting round relative to a scene that is only nominated 2 times. As a result you may want to disregard how other people are voting.
It is suggested that all members participating in the nomination process elaborate on why your feel your picks for "APH Scene of the Year" are worthy of the award. If you "make the case" for your scene, you may persuade others to nominate it as well. It may also generate some interesting discussion and debate.
Nominations will end on March 31, 2008. The final voting around will being on April 1st.
I'll nominate Lana Croft for her scene's in Obscene Behavior 2 and also Wet Food 2. Her scene in OB2 is her first DP and very well done. In Wet Food 2 she does a 5 guy blowbang that is about as intense as she's ever performed with her gagging to the point where she's drooling and spitting all over herself and into a bowl. I'll review the rest of my 2007 collection to make nomintions for 3 more scene's soon.

In thinking about this, I realized this system is flawed. If a scene is shot but release is held back for a long time, it would not be possible to win under this system. Said scene would miss it's only window of opportunity. Plus, it is also hard for us to tell when a scene was actually produced without access to the studio's paperwork. As a result, I think going forward, we need to change the focus to the release date. Here is the new criteria for eligibility:

This should be relatively easy to ascertain and will not prejudice movies that have been delayed from commercial release for whatever reason.

Obscene Behavior 2 is fine, but Wet Food 2 will not be eligible until next year under the revised rules since it was released on 02.14.08. So you have four nominations left.
BTW, Adult Video Universe conveniently lists the street date of all movies in their system. Action-DVD lists the production date and the date released on DVD.

Snow, If you read your above post to qualify, you stated produced between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007 which translates into street dates of April 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008. Wet Food 2 qualify's under the posted qualifications with a street date of 2-14-08!

1. Keanni Lei in Racial Tension #2 She gets gang banged by about 8 guys half white half black. She takes it in all three holes, swallowed all the loads and when some of it came back up she licked the spillage off the carpet.

I seriously love this scene and have watched it a bunch of times. Nadi's fuck game is on display early where she is boned one-after-the-other by two dudes, but the scene really takes off as she settles down to receive her coating of goo. Nadi is a SEMEN DEMON! She takes load after load for a total of 12 and loves every one of 'em. Ms Phuket's personality also really shines through, as there are long sections in between loads where the camera focuses on her sperm splattered visage as she espouses her love of goo in all it's permutations (ie - she looked hot covered in jizz and she was really vocal about it ). IMHO this is the best scene of Nadi's career and certainly ranks high on the replay list in the Deathsheep household.
