Well, I did ask Haven those questions about working with black guys and she was not very happy. She said she gets hate mail over that issue! Are you sure you are not trying to get me in hot water? :-)

Thanks for your suggestions Tommy. I didn't see them until after the interview, but I did ask her about her boyfriend status. We also talked quite a bit about Jill Kelly Productions and being a contract girl.

Besides the IR questions she was doll! She's cute in person! I'll most likely post the interview on SRR later this month. It will take some time to transcribe ... it's rather long!

Well, it was a long time coming, but my interview with Haven was finally published this afternoon!

As many of you may know, Haven is a former contract starlet with Jill Kelly Productions (JKP). This interview was recorded a little over six years ago on 11.08.03 while she was appearing as a feature dancer at Gold Club Centerfolds near Sacramento, California. As it turns out, 2003 was the sunset of Haven's career as a porn star. She started working in the adult industry in 1999 at the age of 20. In total, Haven shot 74 titles, nearly all of which were shot for JKP. In August 2005, JKP declared bankruptcy and Penthouse acquired the assets of the studio including the back catalog and unreleased titles. Because of this, many titles that Haven appeared in are now out of print and getting difficult to find.

The interview runs about sixty-seven minutes and is 32.1 MB. It is encoded as a standard mp3 file in mono at 64k. In case you are not familiar with "Podcasts", the name is somewhat of a misnomer and you do not need an iPod to hear the broadcast. Please note that the audio quality of this podcast is much lower than my recent interviews. This was one of my first interviews and at the time, I was using an old portable cassette recorder I used to record colleges lectures on. Podcasts were just getting started and the original plan was simply to post a text transcript.
