People complain about unemployment, but don't want a business like this. People like gas in their car, but don't want refineries built. People want criminals locked up, but don't want to pay taxes for the building and staffing of prisons. People want sex offenders kept out of cities, but don't offer them employment-corner a predator and they'll come out fighting. Nevada won't tax bordellos for fear of "accrediting the bordellos" although the bordellos have asked to be taxed, and those taxes could drop property taxes significantly.
