How does distribution work?

Does anybody know any websites that talk about the business end of adult entertainment? I was wondering about how studios get their movies out... I assume they sell to a distributor who then gets them out to stores? Snowman, how is your studio planning on doing this? Do the distributors buy the inventory outright or do they sell on a best efforts basis and have the right to return unsold movies to the studio? Also as kind of a related question, who does the box design, box printing, and disc/tape copying?

I was just wondering because it would seem to me that newer studios would have a difficult time getting their share of shelf space. If you use a distributor, how do you know they are working in your interests instead of one of their other studios? Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing you all's thoughts on this... especially you Snowman as you are plannin on starting your own studio.
