I can’t deal with real CP, vomit and scat, now I’ve added crucifix porn to my list. This crosses the line for me (play on words). I have two separate issues with this type of porn. The first is the assault on Christianity in this country. It’s OK to bash Christians and sue to have Christian symbols removed from public places yet the government funds construction of foot baths in public places for another religion. There are even public schools that are for a certain minority religion where they preach radical doctrine but Christians can’t even have an organized prayer in the same public school system. They had riots in Europe over religious cartoons, imagine what would happen if this same porn group did a desecration of their symbols. This is a free country they can do what they want with this type of thing….but why don’t they treat the other religions with equal disrespect? I think we all know why.

The second issue is personal preference. I would not buy any porn featuring nuns and priests as the talent but I do not find it personally disturbing. A nun or priest is a mortal and by definition a sinner therefore they are disrespecting themselves more than anything else. When you use a crucifix or rosary, that is a representation of “The Man” himself, Christ. While I find this abhorrent I would not lead or recommend a boycott of these products. I briefly scanned that site and when I found that some of my favorites were involved with this I was not only disappointed but will probably not buy anymore of their material.

No disrespect but I have to offer a counter opinion on this... I mean, it is a contradiction to be a "christian" and "porn lover" since christianity prohibits it. I would say to anyone involved in both to "pick one!"

Of course I have no problem with it being atheist. I don't watch it for the express purpose of seeing religious symbols degraded, because as an atheist, I couldn't care one way or the other... I watch it rather for the taboo involved (like early anal scenes used to be) and the scene itself.

It would be interesting to have (if one doesn't exist) to have a religion thread to discuss it in itself. I just can't understand how an educated society such as ourselves can believe in fairy tales... such as "Jesus Christ."

While we may have "intelligent porn discussion" here having a religion thread is just inviting disaster. I have seen threads in other (non-porn) forums that either starter out as religious discussion or turned in to religious discussion turn very ugly, and i would hate to see that happen here.
