I observe so many people who stay in really bad relationships, I can only conclude people are truly afraid of being alone.
No one wants to be alone, friends are nice and family are ok, but having a permanent partner is best. Of course getting in early and having kids helps here, takes the pressure off all that having a family BS. I pitty anyone over 40 who doesnt have children yet IMO. Be single, or become a serial monogamist...or get a partner who likes to swing. I'm rambling now..
Can you have a suplimentry question Snowman? C. Unwedded but has more than one partner.
No, we can't have that option because it removes the "cost" of not staying with the crummy spouse. The whole crux of the question is, if you don't stay with the bad match, you never get another partner.

Jeeez! And I pity people who shouldn't have ever been parents in the first place having kids because of external pressures. I've seen it too. The parents are miserable and the kids turn out screwed up.
Some people aren't meant to be, or really shouldn't be parents.

Very true! So many people just shoudnt go down that path. Its easy to get pregnant, but thats just the begining of nearly a 2 decade committment. Best count the cost and get used to the idea BEFORE ... if the couple are of one mind and not pressured into it then its the most satisfying thing you can do in your life.
