I finally posted my interview with Loni from the set of Asia Noir #03, almost two years ago to the date. Loni was working as a production assistant and we did the interview while Lolita was finishing her three-way with Sledge and Sylvio. The interview was about fifteen minutes. It was toward the end of the day and the weather outside was scorching hot. It was well over 100 degrees. In fact, DAC could not have been any more unlucky in that regard, I believe it was the hottest day of the summer that year!

This was the first time I had interviewed a starlet in person so it's not as good as my more recent ones. I didn't know I would be interviewing Loni in advance, so I was not very prepared. Also, I used a microcassette recorder which turned out to be a nightmare because of the poor audio quality. That was the first and last time I did that. Nonetheless, you guys will still get a good idea what Loni is like and maybe learn some interesting things about her background.

Thanks for posting the Loni interview.
I have always liked her so it was fun to read about her personal life.
Her attitude on screen is what porn is all about.
She puts everything she has into her performance.
And I LOVE those titties!

You're right your interview skill are definately more polished now.
It would be good if you got the chance to talk to her again and posted a follow up interview.

Yeah, it is ashame the interview was not as good as it could have been, but there's a learning curve to everything -- even porn journalism! The flow of that conversation leaves a lot to be desired and I didn't really engage her in follow up questions that can bring out interesting details. =(

That was the first time I had been on a porn set before and to be honest, I didn't know what to expect. I do appreciate that DAC was the first person to invite me to a shoot. Before that experience, I really hadn't given much thought to interviewing girls in person on the set. I had a lot of experience interviewing people, but not in this context. My skills needed to be tweaked for the adult world.

Plus, I had no idea who Kylie was at the time and I had already interviewed Lolita via e-mail. DAC mentioned that Loni would be there, but I did not know why or for how long she would be around. Interviews were not really on my mind. I was thinking more along the lines of a field report with photos.

I do make a special effort to interview all the Asian girls (and other starlets I personally like!), and I would certainly be willing to interview Loni again if our paths cross in the future. I always thought it would be interesting to interview girls multiple times -- to sort of track their perceptions of the industry over time. I even think it would be very cool to interview some of them *after* they left the adult industry -- when they had more time to reflect on their experience and could be more honest. When they are gone, they don't have to worry about offending anyone and can turn off the P.R. robot responses.

That was nice natural interview Snow very laid back i liked it, Loni is cool i love her personality shes hot for sure but she seems really honest and not putting any act on, very real and bubbly guess that the filipina in her.

Yes, I would agree. Loni is very open and candid. She's like a real person, not a "porn star" and it is easy to feel comfortable around her. There are some girls who I've interviewed who are very icy and guarded. A few refuse to do interviews at all!

Yeah I bet some have been real ice queens (they gotta think its us buying their movies giving them the money just as much as their hard work if the fanbase is not there neither is the demand and work) I know you talked to Sabrine Maui she seems (at least on camera) to have a simular personality to Loni (is she as nice in person?) they are both hot in different ways (petite or curvy) but are so cool the type of chicks you would want to hang out with just as much as want to sleep with.

Yeah Snow I'm really diggin' the interview. Every time I've seen Loni her personality shines. You just can't beat personality + curvy body + potty mouth + performance. And that's why she made my top ten list. I wish I could see more of her. Seems like she's been MIA of late.

Anyway, I really appreciate your initiative in interviewing starlets and I gotta give props to the starlets that grant interviews that allow their fans to gain some insight into who they are as a person. Keep up the good work.
