This is about journalism. This is about Freedom of Speech.
If someone wants to write about a topic then they have the right to. It doesn't matter who it offends. Freedom of Speech is for everyone. |

Freedom to slander is not.
One of the issues involved in several episodes around the country involving internet reporters is that they are knowingly, willingly and wantonly posting false accusations about a specific person, institution or product. This then circulates around the blogs and finally the so called mainstream media reports it as fact from an unnamed source. Lies by an anonymous individual hiding behind a web nom de guerre directed at say any of our politicians of either party is not what the framers of the constitution had in mind when they wrote the First Amendment to the constitution. |

Where have you been? Also, what happened to them when they put out false information or slandered someone? Nothing that's what. It is "We the people." Not the state or government. |
