I miss Kiko Wu

I was just cruising through some of my old Kiko Wu photos and came to the realization that I miss her work. She stopped updated her site abruptly about 4 years ago and I never even knew that until about 6 months ago. In either case, I have this little app in my Firefox that does a slideshow of pics of my choosing and I recently threw my folder of Kiko's stuff in there and... MAN, do I miss her work!!!!

I agree she was an APH that dropped off the map.

I actually traded quite a few e-mails with her around 2001. Mostly web site, photoshop, HTML stuff, and the occasional small talk. She was nice enough to me, but my only problem with her was that she never did B/G, she ALWAYS wore those damn colored contacts, and she thought waaaaaaay too high of herself. I did find a lot of the girls on her "chinatown-girls" web site pretty hot... That's where I first saw Bamboo.

Anyway, she would really talk down to her web members in her FAQ page and random postings. Her message board was full of guys calling her a snob.

Anyway, she was in school at the time of her web site/stripping days. She always said when she got her degree, she was done with it, as it was a means to put herself through school. I guess she followed up on that, 'cause she stopped cold.

I recall trading emails with her as well as trading the occasional barb on her members only message board. We always got along great and we never had a falling out. Not that I would call myself a friend or anything but as far as the snobbish behavior goes, I saw it but there was alot more to her than just that. I do recall those members on the message board that called her names but I never really bought into it. I mean, what do I care if she thinks less of me because I enjoy wacking off to pictures of her in various states of nudity?? For me, the bottom line was I paid for and appreciated what she was selling and the rest of it is inconsequential to me as a fan.

She didn't really wear the contacts until later on, right? Most of her material that I still have is without contacts.

To me if you do not do boy-girl you’re not an APH. I followed her work for awhile waiting for the boy-girl that did not come (play on words).

What I find interesting is that here you have a vanilla performer that did quite well with the soft-core stuff despite treating her fans in a condescending manner. Recently Snowman posted some stats that some hard-core titles were selling in the hundreds while some soft-core stuff was selling in the thousands. We have some of our APH’s lamenting if not doing anal is hurting their careers.

Unfortunately I have more questions than answers. Seems to me that some MBA type, smarter than me, needs to do some market research for the magic formula.

In an e-mail to me one time when discussing her content, she had said that personally she wasn't a lesbian, nor bi, but did it for the site. She commented on how one of her female talents developed a crush on her and always wanted to get together outside of the scenes, but she had to always try and convince her of her own heterosexuality.

She also said that her favorite type of sex was hetero anal sex. She had a wall mounted soap dispenser by her bed filled with lube just for that.

Anyway, signs actually do point to her being "man loathing" and I'm not sure how much of her e-mails and FAQs I believed.
