I saw in the newspaper today that Katja is coming to my city (Sacramento, CA) for a feature dancing engagement. I think she will be here from Wed to Sat of this week. I'd like to get an audio interview with her while she is here. I usually can do so at the club where she is appearing (Gold Club Centerfolds) but I could also meet her outside of the club at a Starbucks or restaurant or something at her convenience. I've never really communicated with her, so I thought perhaps you could run this by her and see what she says?
Examples of the Podcast interviews I am posting are here:
Dear Snowman, I duly wrote to Katja and she very kindly replied that she will be happy to give you an interview.
Thanks for your help Victor, that's great news! I received your e-mail with her contact information.
OK Guys, what would you like me to ask Katja? As you guys know, I do my best to try and incorporate the questions that you would like me to ask. Victor, I know you are fan of hers. Please feel free to suggest something. Thanks in advance!
To help inspire some creative and unique questions, here's Katja's Wiki entry:
Well done, and thanks again to Katja Kassin for her usual courtesy and kind thoughts for fans. Indeed, once Katja herself was a "fan" when she saw Silvia Saint and Lexington Steel in "The Academy", the movie directed by Frank Thring (Silvia's early director) that inspired Katja to join the glamour movie/modelling world.
For myself, I am more interested in the human being side of the stars, as you saw from my 30 Questions to Monica Sweetheart.
Maybe questions could include some about Katja's travels, her favourite countries and cities where she has visited either for pleasure or movie/modelling work.
Some questions about Katja's hobbies and studies - I think that she is very clever! - and also, by any chance, does Katja like Elvis?
Some questions about Katja's new career as a "feature dancer" - by the way, the photo on Katja's Blog Site reminds me of the "nurse" costume scenario complete with nasty-looking syringe that Lea was once photographed for!
Also, some of Katja's thoughts for the future.
Regards,
Vic. 4th October 2007.
PS. And one special question for Lea De Mae's fans, can you ask Katja about her meeting and filming with Lea (I think they filmed together only once for a USA company). Please can you include one question about that if possible. You may have read that Katja was the first movie star to send a contribution to the Medical Fund to try to assist Lea fight back against the brain tumour that took her from us in December 2004.
For myself, I am more interested in the human being side of the stars, as you saw from my 30 Questions to Monica Sweetheart.
Thanks for your suggestions Victor.
I think the "human" side of Katja might be a good way to go for this interview. She has quite a few other interviews on the web already and I don't want to cover all the same material.
I would like to know who her husband is I read that he is a performer too. also I read somewhere she was married to Sledgehammer. Also does she have any favorite guys or gals she likes to work with.
Thanks guys! Please keep it up. I am interviewing her this evening (Saturday). I'd really like to get some unique questions in there since she's been interviewed by several other people.
Dear Snowman, Will you be eventually typing out the questions and answers? Otherwise, how do we actually hear the interview?
You'll have to forgive me as being totally unstreetwise on latest gadgets! Good luck for the interview and please give Katja our warm greetings from cloudy London!
Hi Victor. I have all but given up finding the time myself to prepare transcripts of the interviews. It really takes quite a long time to transcribe them. However, I am looking into hiring people to do it for me.
In the meantime, you can listen to the Podcast Interviews either online as a stream, or download them and play them as you would a normal music mp3 file. Most computers already have software to do this. Windows ships with Microsoft's Media Player installed and Macs come with Quicktime. Most of the time, I prefer to use third party media players. One of my favorites is JetAudio. The publisher has a free version available for download.
