Synopsis

This gang bang feature from 1999 was sent to me last summer when it was released on DVD for the first time.  It's been a long time since I last reviewed a Gang Bang Angel video, so I took this one off the shelf.  Movies that feature Euro hottie Daniella Rush, (a 2001 Raincoat MVP), are usually worth a look. 

Like many other Gang Bang Angel installments, this one starts off with a short introduction scene featuring Daniella in solo action.  Daniella masturbates with the help of a medium size vibrator on a bedroom set.  She looks very nice here, wearing a wrap with a spotted design, cotton panties and white heels.  Daniella's pussy is totally shaved. 

About seven minute later the actual gang bang scene begins.  The scene cuts to a set made up to look like a (crowded)  adult bookstore.  Daniella browses through the videos and magazines and definitely gets the attention of all the horn dogs in the establishment.  I guess Daniella just can't help herself, and she tears open the packaging on a new, pink dildo and starts to suck it.  Daniella then takes down her dress, pulls aside her panties and starts to finger herself.  For awhile, the guys can only watch and drool, but after a few minutes, she lets them join in the fun.  At this point a full fledged gang bang with twelve guys commences.

What's Hot

Daniella looks super fine here.  For the gang bang scene, she's dressed in a red dress, and matching red bra and panties with heels.  Hot outfit and smokin' body!

Lots and lots of sex sequences with Daniella, which is especially great if your a fan.  Roughly about 40 minutes of cocksucking and straight sex, 16 minutes of anal and double penetrations, and 14 minutes of oral sex that leads up to cum blasts, mostly on her face. 

The anal sequence where Daniella gets reamed on her back and then with her hips up in the air is great and has some raincoater appeal.  Good close up camera angles from above and POV from the girl's perspective.  Also, some good gape shots are tossed in here.  For the record, she also performs doggy anal here. 

The first few cum shots are very good, especially guy number one.  Daniella sucks his cock and when he is ready to blow his nuts, his cum drips into her mouth from above.  Daniella makes a good effort to catch all the goo in her mouth over and over again.  After all the guys cum, Daniella has a nice glazed look.   

What's Not

Although she seems moderately engaged in what is happening during the gang bang, Daniella is curiously quiet during much of the sex.  She doesn't say much throughout the entire feature and her moaning can only be described as low keyed.  As a result, most of the audio consists of inane and (mostly) derogatory dialog courtesy of the male performers.  This tends to lower the heat somewhat. 

The beginning of Daniella's anal sequence is truly poorly executed.  It's probably the most ineffective way to kick off anal action with a hot babe I can imagine.  The camera is situated in front of Daniella at a substantial distance away from her.  In fact, I couldn't really tell it was in her ass at all.  If the guys didn't keep talking about it, I might have missed it entirely. 

Everything Else

Male performers include:  Hershel Savage, Guy DeSilva, Roy Shaft, Marc Anthony, Brandon Irons, Steve Tyler, Valentino, Dave Hardman, Tyce Bune, J.J. Michaels, Brian Sherwood, Johnny Thrust.

At the end of the credits there are some bonus "behind the scenes" outtakes.  They most show a lot of goofing off on the set.

Good production values.  At times the color seemed too pink.  Overall a good digital transfer. 

The DVD has a nice clean menu system.  From the main menu viewers can play the movie, jump to a scene (11 chapters), or view the extras (five trailers and an Internet promo for the Elegant Angel website).  No extras on this one.  The menu navigation system worked perfectly.

Last Word

Daniella delivers a solid, if somewhat unremarkable, performance in Gang Bang Angels #08.  She looks great and easily handles a dozen guys here, including anal and dp, but somehow the end result is a little flat.  She seemed a little too passive and muted. 

Also, these features might benefit from a director who runs a tighter ship.  I get the feeling Alex Ladd takes a rather casual approach to direction.  I rarely sense that the performers are being pushed or that he is making a real effort to find the best shots.  Sometimes I even get the sense that everything is on autopilot, as if the director picked an obvious position for the camera, planted it there, and then walked off the set for a few minutes.  In the hands of a director who was more intense and/or creative, this feature might have been very different. 

If you're a fan of Ms. Rush, this one is a must buy, because there's nearly 90 minutes of non-stop sexual shenanigans featuring the attractive starlet.  Fans of gang bangs could do a lot worse, but they might not be knocked out either.

Second Opinion? 

Astroknight rates this disc 3 out of 5 stars and says, "It's one of the better gang bang features I've seen."  Astro judged this movie to have "extreme" raincoat appeal.  (ADT)

LSB thought "the gangbang went well" but would rather see more girls.  No overall rating given.  (RAME)

Levon, who states upfront he is "not a fan of gang bangs"  grades this feature a "C" and notes it is "very quiet and well behaved...pretty tame."
