REVIEW

Lesbian Teeny Boppers is Jim Gunn's latest young lesbian lust feature.  The box cover quotes cover the bases well as far as themes go:  "the youngest models allowed by law", "first time lesbian lust" and "all brand new girls".  The girls are all South Florida locals, so they are not overexposed like many of their California counterparts.  

Each scene begins with a short, and somewhat silly, introduction by Denee.  Basically, Denee looks back fondly over the summer and remembers some of the girl/girl encounters she or her friends were involved in.  However, Denee is not much of an actress and her narration is entirely unbelievable.

During the opening credits, the actresses are identified well and short, highlight clips are shown.

SCENE ONE
Denee and Dinah

Scene one features Denne and Dinah.  Denee is a young girl with brownish/reddish hair and a pierced tongue and belly button.  Dinah is a blond with slightly wavy hair, a moderate tan and a cute face. Dinah also has a pierced pussy.  Denee has a tattoo on her ankle and Dinah has a large tattoo near her waist in the front.  As the scene opens, the girls are indoors, kissing on the bed.  They are mostly nude, except for some clothing wrapped around their waists.

Next, the girls try 69.  The blond is one top and because of the camera position, the viewer cannot see the redhead's face well.  

The scene changes to Dinah servicing Denee with a fancy dildo.  Denee is in the doggy position, and the viewer is treated to a nice shot of her rear end.  She spreads open her cheek with one hand and reveals a clean, pretty pussy and her butthole.  The red dildo is battery powered and has a moving tip that rotates.  It also features a clit stimulator.  Visually, I thought this was the most interesting and hottest part of the scene in large part due to better camera work and positioning of the girls.  I was unhappy however to see that Denee had dirty feet -- yuck!  As Denee is worked on, there are some good close ups of her face, and she seems to be enjoying it.  She says she is "close to cumming" and the blond girl seems to be rushing to get her there.

I enjoyed this scene the most because of the wonderful innocence projected by the girls at the beginning of the scene.  It was fun to see Dinah and Ashley's horseplay develop into a "first time" girl/girl love session.  The girls displayed a natural chemistry together and played their roles well.  I would have liked it if even more attention was devoted to the lesbian discovery aspect of this scene.  The sex itself was rather gentle and cautious.  Although this is true to the theme of the scene, it is challenging to portray in a hot manner.  Perhaps Ashley would have been a much better choice as narrator.  She's the best of the bunch in this video.

SCENE SIX 
Cat, Denee, Gina and Leah

The final scene features an encore by four of the girls seen earlier in the feature, Cat, Denee, Gina and Leah.  Again, all four girls are wearing bikinis.  They begin the scene sitting in the shallow end of the pool.  The girls pair off and kiss each other.  Denne and Gina each make out with a blond (Cat and Leah respectively).  There is some breast licking and the girls rub their bodies using their hands.

DVD SPECIFIC COMMENTS

The technical quality of Lesbian Teeny Boppers was excellent.  The picture was very clear with good color and resolution.  The sound was also very good but not always used to good advantage as noted in the review.  The viewer has the ability to jump to any of the six scenes from the Main Menu.  The DVD also contains biographies, a short synopsis, web site information, trailer for Lesbian Cheerleader Squad, and about 12 high quality photo stills.  The biographies contained some interesting information about the background of the stars.  It appears that many of the starlets were dancers.  There are not many bonus features on this DVD.  It would have been nice if a behind the scenes segment, starlet interviews and/or director commentary were included.  The actual disc itself has an attractive silk screen label based on the eye catching cover.   

At the time this review was written, the cost of the is DVD appeared to be about $20 to $25 at most sites on the Web.   

CONCLUSION

This feature is quite different than many recent girl/girl films I have seen.  The girls are clearly new to porn and seem inexperienced before the camera and maybe in terms of sexual technique.  In these respects, the film is true to the themes of "brand new girls" and "first time lesbian lust".  However, I'm not sure these are the "youngest models allowed by law."  That would imply the girls are all 18, but I estimate that most of their ages are quite a bit higher.  Also, the presence of large tattoos and body piercings on many of the girls does not help along the innocence fantasy.

Of greater concern is the amount of heat generated in the scenes.   I am sure that lesbian fanatics will enjoy this feature, but the movie is probably of lesser interest to raincoaters.  This film struck me as sort of a "couples" girl/girl feature because the action never got very nasty relative to other current releases and the girls were always gentle with each other.  Along these same lines, the film contains an abundance of kissing, which I found refreshing and sometimes hot.  However, at some point, I expect a porn movie to get down and dirty, and the performances here come up short in this regard.  In fact, the kissing sequences ultimately wind up being a highlight, not a warm up.  

In the future, I hope that Jim Gunn keeps some of the successful elements in this feature, but turns up the nastiness a notch or two.
