CONCLUSION

When I learned that the Rosebud line was coming back, but with a new director, I was apprehensive.  For about five years Rosebud put out consistently hot, all anal features like clockwork.  The Rosebud style was unmistakable and Rex Borsky earned the respect the raincoaters everywhere.  In fact, along with Buttman and Max Hardcore, I credit Rex Borsky and Rosebud as being instrumental during the early 90's in popularizing anal scenes.  Although it may be hard to imagine now, at one time anal sex scenes were rare, and when they were included, they were often short, hard to see and sometimes even faked with "stunt butts."  I had serious concerns that the new Rosebud would not be up to the standards of the old.  I remember once when Zane attempted to "resurrect" Max Hardcore without Max.  The results were disastrous.  

Fortunately, Jules Jordan seems to have a good grip on what made Rosebud great.  Frankly, I enjoyed Anal Sluts & Sweethearts 4 much more than I expected I would.  Although it is not a carbon copy of "Borskyvision", it retains enough of the look and feel of the original so that Rosebud fans will not be disappointed.  Without hesitation, I would rank this feature with the best of the original Rosebuds.  Now, the trick for Mr. Jordan will be to deliver something this good on a regular basis.  

Highly recommended to raincoaters!  Should hold up well to repeated viewings.
