First released about a year ago (in 12/00), the is the first installment in A Perverted Point of View.  Evidently, this title was successful enough to spawn a sequel.  The title has a clever double meaning.  Many people outside of raincoater company might say the sex contained in this feature is perverted.  At the same time, all the sex is shot from the point of view of the male partner (sometimes referred to as POV shots).

DVD SPECIFIC COMMENTS

The main menu of this disc contains the following selections:  Chapters, Photo Gallery, Web Site Info, DVD Releases, and Play Movie.  On the chapter menu, viewers can jump to any of the eight chapters on the disc plus a bonus "cum shot recap."  There are small animated clips running by each chapter name as a reminder which scene is which.  Strangely, the preview for scene one does not feature Justine; instead it features the opening credit sequence with a guy jumping out of a dumpster.  On subsequent viewings, when the scene selection feature is most likely to be used, one could easily forget Justine is even in the movie.  A better solution would be to add a specific chapter for the title credits and opening (trash bin) sequence.  

Technical quality of this disc is good.  The picture is bright and clear with good color saturation and balance.  Sound quality is quite good as well.    

CONCLUSION

A Perverted Point of View #01 is definitely enjoyable raincoater porn.  I believe the point of view style is an effective way to present hot gonzo porn, and this feature contains POV shots exclusively.  Mike John does an excellent job of lensing the action in this style.  All the girls are wild and willing, especially Justine and Mei-Yu, although it would be a stretch to call a  couple of them lookers (Diamond and Suzanne).  

The main weakness of the film is wrapped up in the POV theme.  The action suffers from a high degree of sameness from scene to scene.  I suspect this is because the action that can be shot in true POV fashion is limited.  If the director is also acting as cameraman and sex partner to the girls, some positions cannot be presented properly.  For instance, POV would seem to preclude reverse cowgirl and perhaps even doggy.  However, some positions, such as upside down seem possible, yet Mike John did not incorporate them.  I also would like to more attention paid to the clothes the girls are wearing.  POV gonzo does not mean all the girls have dress plainly and then strip nude in the first sixty seconds of the scene.  

Last but not least, with eight full scenes, featuring eight different girls, this is a generous collection.  The running time of this nasty feature is nearly two hours and twenty minutes.  Perverted Point of View #01 offers good bang for the back for raincoaters.
