What's Hot

This disc is very faithful to the POV concept.  What's more, most of the time, the POV camera angles used are excellent and very realistic.  The best sequences on this disc are about as good as it gets in the genre.  Vince Voyeur is to be commended!

The starlets here are all attractive.  Despite the generous running time (well over two hours), there are no scenes with woof woof girls hidden in the middle of the movie as filler.  There are some girls with yucky tattoos, but they were attractive enough in other ways to compensate. 

The girls do a super job of paying attention to the camera and trying to involve the viewer.  Kudos to both the girls and director Vince Voyeur for keeping his eye on the ball in this respect.

I was pleased to see the girls keep their clothes on more.  In some RLD (and Vince Voyeur features) the girls are nude from the start to the end of the scene.  Nude can be OK, but clothes or partial states of disrobing can be sexy too.

Good production values through out -- clear photography, well lit scenes and good sound.  All the DVD features worked as they should on my Sony stand alone DVD player. 

The scenes with Naudia and Honney deserve special mention.  Both of these newbies deliver hot and nasty POV performances that include lots of eye contact, dirty talk, anal and multiple A2M. 

What's Not

As noted above, the film is usually very good about trying to present authentic POV sex.  However, once in a while, the camera angles seemed to drift to the side which seemed odd.

Simple menu structure on the DVD -- "Play Movie", "Scene Index" and "DVD Extras".  The main menu is attractive, but the moaning and dialog clip is annoying.  I would prefer something more subtle.

The "DVD Extras" consist of the bonus scenes mentioned above, a twelve minute "Behind the Scenes" featurette, trailers of other Red Light District titles and a photo gallery.  The bulk of the "Behind the Scenes" segment relates to Anna Belle.  Some of the girls are not even seen in this clip.  The trailers features is notable.  Coming attractions from 20 other RLD titles are included. Each clip is between one and three minutes. 

Last but not least, the DVD has a nice silkscreen disc label. 

Last Word

"Raincoaters Point of View #02" was very enjoyable.  I'm a fan of POV style discs.  When POV discs are done properly, they are next best thing to actually being there.  On this disc Vince Voyeur does it right.  Put this one on your shopping list.
