What's Hot

I believe the inspiration for this movie was fan driven.  On another website, readers were posting ideas on what they would like to see and Red Light District responded.  That is one of the best  things about RLD.  They do try to listen to their customers.

The lingerie theme of the movie is great.  I'm all for more use of sexy apparel in porn.

Leisurely tease sequences in the beginning of each scene with the girls dressed in nice lingerie.  The starlets talk directly the camera, pose and crawl around.  This portion of each scene lasts about five minutes.

Courtney's anal performance here was top notch.   

Good productions values.  The camera work is solid and the lighting and sound is fine as well.  Also, generous bonus footage is included and a short, but amusing behind the scenes segment. 

What's Not

The girls' make-up is OK, but perhaps a bit on the overdone side.

I'd like to see a bit more variety with the lingerie outfits.  There's tons of beautiful intimate apparel out there, including  babydolls, teddies, bustiers, chemises and robes.  Also, much of the lingerie in this feature was black.  Black is fine, but there's lots of other attractive colors out there too.

I didn't really care for the girls plugging the Red Light District (pay) website at the end of each scene.  Website advertising should be limited to the "website" menu selection on the "special features" menu. 

Scene Descriptions

Last Word

The concept of having the girls wear lingerie in porn is not a new one.  However, in many of today's wall to wall and gonzo features, it has become a rarity.  Many times, it seems like directors can't wait to get the starlets completely naked and perform the entire scene in the nude.  It's puzzling to me, since adult movies rely almost entirely on the visuals, and there's no doubt sexy clothing has erotic value.  A little mystery goes a long way and adds to the anticipation of what's to come. 

That said, I'm happy to see Red Light tackle this project.  Overall, I think "Lingerie" is a good effort and I hope to see this disc become a regular series.  There was a good mix of attractive girls here and a variety of sexual content that should please a wide range of viewers.

Also, it's worth mentioning that I don't think the use of lingerie (or other sexy clothing) should be restricted to a special series.  Sexy apparel is welcome in nearly any adult title!

Spooky says this disc is one of the better ideas RLD has come up with.  His favorite scene was the one with Austin.  Overall rating 4.5 out of 5.0.
