Synopsis

"Jungle Love" is a wall to wall, interracial feature with six scenes.  Five of the scenes feature white girls with one or more black guys and one scene features an Asian girl (Nyomi Marcela) with a black guy.  This is the directorial debut of Yani Z. whose prior experience in the industry was principally as a cameraman for various directors in the adult industry.  

What's Hot

Quite a bit of decent raw raincoater footage here.  Four of the six girls take it up the butt including one that also does DP.  Anal butt plugs, a few gapes and occasional a2m pops up too.  All the girls do nasty stuff in multiple positions.  Pretty good batch of pop shots too.

What's Not

The starlets here are OK, but lesser known and relatively average looking overall.  I couldn't get into that pink hair Judy Star sports here.  Chelsea Luv looks better on the box than in the movie.

There was a schizophrenic nature to the scenes.  Some scenes were straight out of the gonzo playbook, with a little bit of tease and then straight to the fucking.  Other scenes (the ones featuring Chelsea and Nyomi) had slight story set ups with some dialog between the performers.  Nyomi's "story" seemed particularly confused and jumbled.  Either format is fine, but it's probably better not to mix the two in a single disc.

The selections on the "Extras" menu are messed up.  The small preview pictures of the starlets do not match up with the right footage once the viewer selects it.  As a result, viewers have to "hunt" for what they want to see by using trial and error. 

Play By Play

Below is a detailed description and comments about each scene:

The "Extras" menu is jam packed with features, but a little confusing to use.  There are selections for "Interviews" and "Solo Scenes" with each girl, a slide show, "Hot Shots" and "Trailers".  The idea of having starlet interviews as an "extra" feature is a good one, but here the interviews themselves were rather short.  The slide show is about two minute long and each picture is seen for about four seconds. 

Three trailers for several other DVSX features are included:  Teen Sensations #02,  Truly Nice Ass #02, and More Than a Woman #02.

Last Word

"Jungle Love" is a notch above many interracial features I have seen recently.  Yani Z's. experience working as a cameraman for notable directors such as Jules Jordan pays off big here.  Visually, the scenes are more interesting than standard gonzo fare, helping to elevate the so-so cast and occasional direction missteps.  Yani Z. is a director to keep your eye on.  I expect good things in the future from this tenderfoot director!

Overall Rating:  B- (2.85)

Second Opinion?

Rog seemed to have mixed feelings about this one.  He says Jungle Love follows the "simple, no nonsense" style of other DVSX films, but felt this movie was not "original" and implied it was a poor imitation of other similar flicks.  Nonetheless, he said there is some "really good stuff" here and winded up awarding this movie a B. 

Aybesea felt this movie had some "standout scenes", namely the ones featuring Angela Long and Chelsea Luv.  He says Chelsea's scene is so hot, it is "ingrained in his memory."  Overall "whack factor" rating 7.00 out of 10.00 stars.
