Synopsis
According to Peach, the "Ultra Vixen" series presents viewers with the "world's most beautiful women filmed the way men want to see them.. seductive, sultry and sensuous." Each edition features a spotlight model on the front box cover. In this instance, the Peach Ultra Vixen is Jessica Jaymes, a very pretty brunette with a smokin' body. Jessica's is 5'7" tall and her breasts are 35D with a 22 inch waist. She also says she has a "little booty that is 32 inches." Jessica appears in two segments only. Besides Jessica, there are seven other attractive girls who strip for the camera and tease viewers. The girls get naked, but there is no sex.
What's Hot
The girls are very attractive, especially if you like busty blonds. Five out of seven girls on this disc had fair hair.
Good use of multiple angles. But see problem noted in "What's Not" section of this review.
Lots of flexibility for the view in viewing the scenes. The viewer can choose the girl and then select the location, or choose the location and then select the girl.
What's Not
Although Jessica is the featured Peach girl here, she is only featured in two segments that together run about ten minutes. The rest of the disc features other girls. The format is OK, so long as viewers are not expecting most of the disc to be filled with Jessica.
The cast is attractive, but the mix could be more eclectic. Most of the girls were busty blond but two brunettes, including cover girls Jessica. No Asian, black or Latina models at all. :-(
When viewing this disc, an icon pops up and indicates there are three multiple angles available. However, my DVD player (Koss standalone) only let me switch between two. The box also speaks of three angles.
The lighting left much to be desired in many scenes on this disc. I wasn't too fond of the lighting and color in the Jessica scene by the pool at night. It was too warm and I thought her body did not contrast enough with the patio bricks. Although I fooled with the color controls on my TV, I never found a pleasing combination. The problem was repeated in the balcony segment even though it takes place in the daytime. Check out the weird tint of the sky and ocean in the background. Tonie's segment is also flawed by of an warm orange light on the wall which destroys any contrast between her skin and the background.
The music was mostly yucky to me.
Play By Play
Below are scene descriptions from a few of the segments to give readers an idea of the content on this disc.
"Just Jessica" - choices include "Poolside" and "On the Balcony". In "Pool Side" lovely Jessica is seen posing outside a swimming pool in the evening. She's wearing black lingerie, panties and heels. Jessica is also wearing a rather large, silver cross around her neck with thick chain. Two multiple angles are enabled -- a close up and medium distance shot. Jessica slowly removes her clothing and poses in a variety of positions. She gets naked rather quickly and there are some tasteful shots of her pink. Jessica keeps her heels on the entire time. A rock music soundtrack provides most of the audio. At the end, she blows viewers a kiss and walks off camera.
In the "On the Balcony" segment, Jessica poses outside in the daytime on a scenic residential balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Jessica is wearing a black corset, skimpy matching bra and heels. She looks really great here and the balcony provides a good prop to work with as she poses. But again, the bias toward warm lighting is over the top. Jessica reveals her breasts and then slowly removes her panties. A rather cheesy pop/rock music soundtrack is heard. Jessica lightly rubs her pussy for a few moments and then eventually removes all her clothing. She looks really pretty when the camera moves in for some tight shots as she looks out over the ocean and caresses her breasts.
"Choose Your Girl" -- Tonie Marie. After picking Tonie, she appears for a short introduction and assures viewers "they made the right choice." Then a submenu appears where Tonie can be seen in three different locations, bedroom, stairway, and screening room. I chose "Stairway" hoping for some nice shots of her long legs and behind. As the scene starts, hot Dutch blond Toni is dressed in black bustier, black panties and matching stockings with heels. Sadly, again, the lighting is way too much on the warm side. This time it's even worse because it appears a light with an orange filter was used on a white or yellow wall in the background and now the wall is nearly the same color as Tonie's skin. Tonie dances on the staircase and makes good eye contact with the camera. Multiple angles are enabled, but I could only see two -- a close up and medium distance perspective. Toni strips out of the bustier and then slowly slips her panties off. The angle of the camera is a little high, looking down on the model so the good leg and butt footage I was seeking never materialized. No shots of Toni's pink. The running time of this scene was about five minutes.
"Choose Your Girl" -- Julie Meadows. Viewers can view xxx porn star Julie on the "Stairway" or "Balcony" again. These settings are the same as the other girls. I choose "Balcony" partially because the lighting and colors seemed to be improved. Julie's skin and the ocean background appear more natural here. Julie is wearing a revealing pink bikini with fuzzy zebra pattern over her private parts. It sounds silly, but it actually looks pretty nice. Julie removes her top and plays a lot with her long blond hair, which is blowing nicely in the wind. After a bit, Julie takes off her bikini bottom also and continues to dance nude on the balcony. She's still got a great ass and looks to be in great shape even though she's been on the scene for a number of years now. This scene was also about five minutes.
Everything Else
The DVD main menu has these choices: "Just Jessia", "Choose Your Girl", "Choose Your Location", "Play All", "Special Features, and "Set Up".
The "Special Features" contains three additional choices: "Behind the Scenes", "Trailers" and "Photo Gallery". "Behind the Scenes" - This is a five minute segment featuring short interviews with some of the girls on the set (Jessica Jaymes, Barbara Moore, and Tonie Marie). The photo gallery features hot looking stills (which much better color balance) displayed in the roving camera style used by Vivid. The gallery segment is about five minutes long. "Trailers" contains previews from four other Peach titles.
Last Word
This edition of "Ultra Vixens" is a nice diversion for an hour or so. I liked featured starlet Jessica Jaymes and Tonie Marie best in this group. It's a shame about the detracting lighting and color problems.
