This is the first volume of Chris Zeeman’s Limelight Girls series, which pairs up and coming starlets with, well, Chris. Limelight Productions is based in Las Vegas and while new they have attracted quite a bit of publicity. I’m interested to see how Zeeman (who stars, directs, and produces the material as well as being president of the production company) stacks up with some of the other, more established pro-am series.

Lilly Thai - Not only is Lilly fucking hot but she doesn’t even need a guy to help her light up the screen. If you like squirting at all you’ll like this scene.

Alexis Amore – While her scene wasn’t perfect Alexis sure does look good. Plain and simple its fun to watch this girl get boned.

Technical – For being the first in a series this DVD was very well produced. There are only a couple of minor kinks to work out in future volumes. Picture and audio quality were generally spot on and the lighting was near perfect.

Weak scene with Monika Star – This is not completely Monika’s fault (although she generated no heat herself) but this scene had very ordinary sex and in not very many positions.

Only one guy – Of the 4 scenes with male talent it was Chris every time. This is fine but the risk here is that the scenes will become too much alike. With no anal scenes anywhere they all seemed to run together a bit, with the exception of Lilly’s because she was solo. This will be a bigger problem going forward as the series must be kept fresh to keep people buying. If it is just Chris and some starlet having traditional sex each and every scene it will get old real fast.

Kelana starts the movie off, fully dressed as she visits her neighbor’s apartment. Kelana is a decent looking Asian with very long (to the top of her butt) straight black hair. She admires her neighbor’s bed, climbs on, and gets comfortable. Kelana takes off her jacket and jeans to reveal a red mesh half top and matching red panties. She invites her neighbor onto the bed and to his credit he doesn’t have to think twice.

The guy in four scenes of this movie (Zeeman) is very hairy. I mean really hairy. Despite the hair he seems to know what he’s doing, especially with his tongue as he proves next. After getting on the bed he and Kelana engage in a long (7+ minute) pussy licking scene. Excellent roving camera work in this scene as the focus shifts between Kelana’s face and the action at her pussy. Chris uses first one and then two fingers to complement his tongue and brings Kelana to a very authentic looking orgasm. After she settles down he twice touches his tongue to her pussy and both times she spasms like she got an electric shock. The scene cuts to them with their positions reversed, him on his back with her working on him orally. A few minutes of this and then the scene cuts again to Kelana on her back being entered in the missionary position. Cut again to Kelana mounting cowgirl. In this position we can see a tattoo in the small of her back. Cut to reverse cowgirl for a few minutes, then back to missionary with one of her legs up. After a minute of this the neighbor moves up to her face and gives her his load on her tongue and chin.

Overall this was a little bit of a slow start to the movie. Kelana looks OK but the scene lacks heat with the exception of when she orgasms after the oral. The scene wasn’t particularly intense but the female orgasm and nice cumshot give it some raincoat points. Overall the camera work and picture clarity were excellent with the exception of just a few instances where the camera was slightly out of focus for a second or two. The sound was excellent and recording during the making of the scene and not dubbed to match. (21 minutes)

Alexis Amore is up next and the scene jumps right into her masturbating on a bed. Alexis is wearing nothing but a thin white top. This scene is a slight improvement over the previous one. Alexis looks great although her bad boob job is very noticeable in this scene (right breast is oddly shaped). It’s a shame because she really is a good looking woman. While I haven’t seen her pre-operation it doesn’t look like she would have needed any more size: she is currently somewhere between “very large” and “massive”. Picture quality and sound were generally top notch although again there were a few seconds where the camera was slightly out of focus. (21 minutes)

Exotic looking Lilly Thai is up next. Lilly is absolutely smoking in all white to start the scene. The disc also contains 2:22 minutes of stills (approximately 18-20 pictures) and a 6:06 minute Behind the Scenes segment. The BTS is split into 3 parts: about 90 seconds of an Alexis Amore photo shoot, about 80 seconds of Kelana in the shower after her scene, and about 3:00 minutes of Monika Star being interviewed. Monika tells us she is from Finland and then engages in the usual small talk about her favorite sexual positions, how she feels being on camera, etc. Kelana’s shower was the most interesting thing for me as she looked cuter here than in her scene. She claims she had 3 orgasms during the scene. She also gives us a good look at her ying/yang tattoo that is on the small of her back.

Overall this was a solid first effort from Limelight Productions. They had two good scenes (Lilly and Alexis), two OK scenes (Kelana and Morgan) and one disappointing one (Monika). The two good scenes were good enough to make me want to check out later volumes of the series.

I am curious to see if Limelight will be able to keep this series fresh and interesting as it continues. So many of the pro-ams out there today have gone stale. It would be a shame for Limelight to fall into the same trap after a promising beginning. They need to keep recruiting top notch talent and perhaps push the envelope a little bit with the sex to generate just a little more heat.

I have to give a lot of credit to Limelight as this DVD was produced like it was the latest in a long line of titles instead of the first. There seems to be almost no learning curve at all as the picture and audio were excellent. There was just a small problem with the camera occasionally losing focus as it zoomed in or out, but that really was minor and easily corrected in the future.
